Privacy Policy

1. Age 16+
Chillky is not intended for children under 16. Do not create an account or use Chillky if you are under 16, or if the law where you live requires a higher age to use online services without parent or guardian authorization. If you are 16 or 17, you confirm you have any parent or guardian permission required where you live.
2. Agreement required
Chillky requires users to agree to the Terms and this Privacy Policy before using the service. If you do not agree, you cannot use Chillky.
3. Data you provide
We may collect account identifiers, provider email or ID, display name, profile photo, profile settings, saved people/contacts you enter into Chillky, app preferences, support messages, feedback, invite details, shared photos, visual-context uploads, captions, translations, summaries, prompts, and other content you choose to add or share.
4. Sign-in data
When you use Google or Apple sign-in, the provider may send identifiers, email, name, and profile information according to your provider settings. Chillky uses that data to create, authenticate, secure, and sync your account.
5. Call, audio, media, and AI data
When you use call, caption, translation, visual-context, reminder, or recap features, Chillky and its providers may process audio streams, video/camera state, microphone state, shared photos, call metadata, participants, invite-link metadata, captions, translations, transcripts, summaries, reminders, and related AI inputs/outputs to provide the feature.
6. Audio storage
Chillky does not store call audio recordings. Live or temporary audio may be processed by Chillky and service providers only as needed to deliver real-time calling, translation, captions, AI suggestions, safety, debugging, and abuse-prevention features.
7. Call memory
When call memory, transcripts, summaries, reminders, or recaps are enabled, Chillky may save transcripts, summaries, translations, reminders, and related AI artifacts to your account. When supported controls are turned off, Chillky does not save those artifacts for normal product memory, although temporary processing, diagnostics, safety, and legal records may still occur.
8. Sensitive information
Do not share confidential, privileged, regulated, health, financial, biometric, government-ID, child, trade-secret, or other sensitive information unless you have the right to share it and are comfortable with this processing.
9. Data collected automatically
We may collect device and app information such as app version, platform, operating system, language, time zone, feature usage, crash or diagnostic logs, performance events, network status, call connection events, abuse-prevention signals, security events, and approximate technical metadata needed to run, secure, debug, and improve the service.
10. Permissions
Microphone, camera, photo library, contacts you choose to enter or import, notifications, clipboard/share-sheet, and similar permissions are used only for features you enable. You can change permissions in device settings, but related Chillky features may stop working.
11. How we use data
We use data to authenticate users, create and join calls, sync profile/people/recents/preferences, deliver captions/translations/AI recaps/reminders, share invite links, provide support, prevent abuse, investigate crashes, secure the service, comply with law, enforce terms, protect rights and safety, measure reliability, and improve user experience.
12. Legal bases where required
Depending on your region, we process data to perform our contract with you, with your consent for optional permissions or features, for legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention, product reliability, and user support, and to meet legal obligations. You can withdraw device permission in settings, but related features may stop working.
13. AI review and model improvement
Some content or metadata may be reviewed by authorized Chillky personnel or service providers when needed for safety, abuse prevention, debugging, support, quality checks, or legal compliance. Private calls and private content are not intentionally used to train public AI models. Feedback, diagnostics, safety data, and aggregated or de-identified metrics may be used to improve Chillky. Provider handling can depend on the provider and feature settings.
14. Service providers and sharing
Chillky may share data with processors that operate the app: Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; LiveKit or call infrastructure for real-time calls; Google and Apple for sign-in; OpenAI or other AI providers for realtime AI, caption, translation, reminder, and recap features when enabled; hosting, analytics, diagnostics, notification, security, and support providers; app stores; and professional advisers or authorities when required by law. Providers must protect user data consistently with their contracts and applicable law.
15. Legal, safety, and business disclosures
We may retain, disclose, or transfer data when needed to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce Terms, protect users or the public, prevent fraud or abuse, investigate security issues, resolve disputes, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or asset transfer.
16. No sale or third-party ads
Chillky does not sell personal information. Chillky is not designed to use private call content for third-party advertising or let advertisers target users from private call content. If that ever changes, this policy, store disclosures, and consent controls must change before release.
17. Account sync
Your account, profile, saved people, recents, preferences, and enabled feature data may sync across devices signed in to the same account so Chillky works consistently.
18. Retention
Account, profile, preferences, saved people, and recents may be kept while your account is active. Temporary invite links expire. Saved transcripts, summaries, translations, reminders, and AI artifacts are kept while enabled or until deleted, unless longer retention is needed for safety, legal, fraud, abuse, security, or dispute reasons. Active account data is scheduled for deletion or de-identification within 30 days after a verified deletion request. Backups and provider caches may take up to 90 days to expire or be overwritten. Limited fraud, abuse, security, legal, tax/accounting, dispute, consent, and deletion-request records may be retained as needed.
19. Deletion and account controls
You can request account or data deletion through in-app controls when available, support@oberil.com, contact@oberil.com, or the public account deletion page. Some information may remain where retention is required or permitted for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, disputes, provider integrity, or backup integrity.
20. Privacy rights
Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, export, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or an appeal of certain privacy decisions. We may need to verify your request and may deny or limit requests where the law permits.
21. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards such as encrypted transport where supported, access controls, private server secrets, provider security controls, logging, and abuse monitoring. No app, network, provider, or device can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
22. International processing
Chillky is offered globally, and data may be processed in countries where Chillky, Oberil LLC, and service providers operate. Privacy protections may differ from your home country, and we use appropriate transfer safeguards where required.
23. Store disclosures and public policy
App Store privacy labels and Google Play Data Safety disclosures must match what Chillky actually collects, shares, retains, and uses.
24. Changes and contact
